Stay 4 or more nights and learn all about smoking meats with Massanutten's chefs in a daily class from Monday 4/12/21 through Thursday 4/16/21 from 1:00p-3:00p with opportunity at the end to speak with the chef and ask questions.
Each day will feature a different Chef here on the resort, and feature different smoked items.
VaBBQ Day 1 (1822 Resort Drive): Pit Boss Debbie Meadows will show case smoked brisket and pulled pork. Guest will get to enjoy 2 small pork sandwiches 1 with flair and 1 traditional along with a slice or two of brisket.
VaBBQ Day 2 (1822 Resort Drive): Chef Andrew Bierman will be making chicken and ribs. Guest will receive pork ribs with traditional sauce and one with a rub and flavored slaw, along with a piece of smoked chicken.
Base Camp Day (4614 Massanutten Drive) 3: Chef Michael Rittenour will be smoking duck breast and salmon. Guest will enjoy duck tacos and some smoked salmon with traditional condiments. General Manager of Base Camp Cody Bridges will explain techniques for smoking cocktails and other beverages.
VaBBQ Day 4 (1822 Resort Drive): Chef Kevin Kain will be show casing how to cook with smoked products. Will vary weekly and use the leftovers to make cool meals.
